60 Seconds Instead of 30 Minutes: How One Marketing Strategist Closed the Last Gap Between His AI Drafts and His Kajabi Account

He had been running the same email marketing system for two years. Every month, he produced a ten-story nurture sequence for his list — ten short, narrative-driven emails that landed across the month. The drafting had gotten fast. He had built a Claude skill that produced the ten draft stories in a single session.

The drafting was no longer the bottleneck. The bottleneck was the part nobody talked about: the twenty to thirty minutes of clicking it took to turn those ten drafts into ten draft email broadcasts inside Kajabi. Open the broadcast scheduler. Create a new draft. Paste the subject line. Paste the body. Save. Repeat. Ten times.

In the first month, he tried Kajabi MCP. He ran his usual Claude skill, drafted the ten stories as always, and then asked Kajabi MCP to set them all up as draft email broadcasts in his account. It took 60 seconds.

The two years of clicking

The drafts existed in a Claude conversation. They needed to exist as draft broadcasts inside Kajabi. The path between the two was manual: copy a subject line, paste it into Kajabi, copy the body, paste it, reformat where the paste broke the line spacing, save, move to the next one. Twenty to thirty minutes per month — not large in absolute terms, but the thing that had been quietly resented for two years, because every minute of it was mechanical labor.

The toll added up across the year to several hours of nothing-work. More importantly, it sat between him and the next month's plan in a way that made each cycle feel like a chore.

The first 60 seconds with MCP

After his Claude skill finished producing the ten drafts, he stayed in the same conversation and gave the assistant a different instruction: "Take these ten drafts and set them up as draft email broadcasts inside my Kajabi account."

The assistant went to work. The count climbed in real time. Within a minute, all ten draft broadcasts existed inside his Kajabi account, ready for his review. He opened Kajabi to verify. They were there — each one with the subject line he had drafted, the body copy he had written, saved as drafts, none of them scheduled or sent. He went through them, edited the few that needed adjustment, set the send dates, and got on with the rest of his day.

What MCP did, and what it didn't

MCP did: take the drafts from the conversation and create draft email broadcasts inside his Kajabi account; populate each broadcast with the subject and body; save each one as a draft; and operate inside the AI assistant he was already using without forcing him to open a separate tool.

MCP did not: send the broadcasts; schedule them; edit the body copy or change what he had written; or replace the Kajabi admin. He still opened Kajabi to review and finalize. MCP is a complement to the admin, not a substitute.

A note on email editor versions

MCP V1 creates emails inside Kajabi's classic editor. Visual editor support is on the backlog and isn't part of the May launch. For Heroes who use the classic editor — as the marketing strategist does — this is the natural fit. For Heroes who have moved to the new visual editor, MCP-created drafts will appear in the classic editor and need to be opened there.

The compounding effect

The 30 minutes saved per month is the math. The thing that compounds is not the math. It's the friction removed from the start of every monthly cycle. Before MCP, the strategist's monthly nurture production included a 30-minute task he resented. After MCP, the production session ends with the drafts in his account, ready for review, in the same conversation he started in. The energy he used to spend on the translation step is now available for the next strategic decision.

Why this is the actual MCP value proposition

The headline pitch for Kajabi MCP usually starts with the dramatic version — describe a flash sale in one sentence, watch the landing page and email sequence build inside Kajabi in under a minute. That demo is real. Most of the time, MCP is doing the unglamorous work: taking what the expert has already done in their AI assistant and placing it inside Kajabi without the manual translation step. The 60-seconds-instead-of-30-minutes pattern is what makes people use MCP every month for years.
