Blaine Anderson: How Dating Expertise Became a $3M Business
Blaine Anderson turned her dating coaching expertise into a thriving online business on Kajabi. Here's the full story, from first product to $3M in revenue.

Summary
Blaine Anderson built Dating by Blaine from a single idea into a $3M business on Kajabi. She started with scattered tools, a Google Drive full of course recordings, and no unified system. What changed was finding one platform that could hold everything together. This is the story of how she validated her idea, built four coaching programs, grew a following of 441K+, and helped more than 2,700 people improve their dating lives.
She started with a simple idea: men needed better dating advice. Not theory. Not pick-up lines. Real, practical guidance from someone who understood what actually works.
Blaine Anderson built that into Dating by Blaine, an online coaching business that has generated over $3M in revenue, grown a social following from zero to 441K+, and helped more than 2,700 people improve their dating lives. She's been featured in Forbes, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. She pitched on Shark Tank and walked away with an offer from Mark Cuban.
But none of that is where the story starts.
The Before
Before Kajabi, Blaine was doing what most first-time creators do: stitching tools together and hoping they'd hold.
She was uploading course recordings to Google Drive. Running email marketing through Mailchimp. Processing payments through a separate processor. Every piece of her business lived in a different place, and none of them talked to each other.
"I was piecing together all of these different things. Everything was different, and they didn't all talk to each other, which just takes so much time, and it's not fluid," she says.
It worked, barely. But it wasn't scalable. And every hour spent managing the tech stack was an hour not spent serving clients or building her expertise.
The Turning Point
Blaine knew she had something worth sharing. What she needed was a platform that could hold all of it together.
She didn't want more tools. She wanted one system. A place to host courses, handle checkout, manage contacts, and communicate with her audience without logging into five different dashboards.
She started researching, and one platform kept coming up. "Kajabi felt like the natural fit," she says.
What convinced her wasn't just the features. It was the feeling behind them. "Kajabi's big enough that there's an expert team to build this really great tool, but it's small enough that when I reach out and I need something, I actually hear back. I know the people at Kajabi and know the team, which is, I think, really unique. None of the other tools I've ever used felt like that."
What She Built
Blaine currently offers four programs through Dating by Blaine, each designed for a different stage of the client journey.
Texting OS is a focused course on communication and how to keep conversations moving. Online Dating OS covers profile strategy, matching, and converting matches into dates. Dating Masterclass bundles both into a comprehensive self-study program. Jumpstart Your Dating Life is her all-access offer, including everything she creates, present and future.
The programs span a range of formats, from self-paced study to group coaching to 1-on-1 work, and include access to the Dating by Blaine community on Kajabi. Clients can enter at whatever level fits them and work their way up.
The Results
Since 2021, Blaine has generated over $3M in revenue on Kajabi. She has helped more than 2,700 clients improve their dating lives. Her social following grew from zero to over 441,000.
But the number she comes back to most often isn't revenue. It's the emails.
"Every single day, I'll get an email that says, this happened in my dating life, I got engaged, we got married, which is just why I do what I do, and it makes me so, so happy."
That's the outcome she measures by. The revenue followed because the results were real.
What Made It Work
She focused on the customer before the business. Blaine's advice to new creators is direct: "Remember this isn't about you, it's about what the people you are trying to serve want to hear." Before she built anything, she validated her idea and confirmed people would pay for it. Website, branding, name, those came later. The customer came first.
She stopped guessing and started shipping. "You might get caught up in feeling like you need to make a website and figure out branding and a name. No, you don't. You need to figure out who your customer is and confirm that somebody is going to give you money for what you want to sell." Getting to revenue fast meant not waiting for perfect.
She moved everything under one roof. The shift from a patchwork of tools to Kajabi wasn't just a convenience upgrade. It was a business decision. Less time managing software meant more time serving clients and creating content. Everything talking to everything else meant fewer things breaking.
She built a business that matched her values. For Blaine, the product isn't just the courses. It's the transformation. Every program, every community touchpoint, every coaching session is designed to produce a real outcome for a real person. That clarity of purpose is what drives referrals, testimonials, and the kind of client loyalty that compounds over time.
Her Advice
Blaine's guidance for anyone sitting on an idea:
"Start today. You don't need to make it perfect."
The things that feel urgent, the perfect website, the right brand colors, the ideal product name, aren't what determines success. What matters is the idea and the willingness to test it in front of real people. The rest gets figured out along the way.
