What this means for you: instead of one-off purchases, you can build real recurring revenue straight from your Branded App—memberships, coaching programs, ongoing communities—without sending members somewhere else to subscribe.

Built for how subscriptions actually work

Members can restore a subscription on a new device without missing a beat, and once they're subscribed, a "Manage Subscription" link quietly appears in their app settings—nowhere in sight until they actually need it. Checkout is localized too, so the experience feels native no matter where your audience is.

A couple of things to know going in

Apple treats your very first paid iOS offer as a milestone—there's a one-time approval step to clear before it goes live, and that applies here too. And because subscriptions run through Apple's and Google's own billing systems, refunds follow their rules: access is pulled the moment a refund lands, though you can restore it by hand if that's not what you want.

Why beta first

Subscriptions touch billing, App Store review, and member access all at once—get any of that wrong and it costs you real customers, not just a bug report.
