Done well, it generates sales continuously, around the clock, without manual effort from you.
The Core Stages of an Email Funnel
Most email sales funnels move through four stages:

A launch funnel is activated for a defined window (a course launch, a promotional period) and creates urgency through deadlines and live events. Evergreen funnels provide consistent baseline revenue. Launch funnels generate concentrated revenue spikes. The most effective creator businesses use both in combination.
Measure and Optimize
Track open rates, click rates, and conversion rates at each stage of your funnel. If your open rate drops sharply at email three, something in that email is breaking engagement. If people click your offer link but don't buy, the issue is on the sales page, not in the funnel. Each metric points to a specific place to improve. Small improvements at each stage compound significantly across hundreds of subscribers moving through the sequence.
